What’s Next for DarkClaw Studios?
We revamped the website, reprinted the first issue for the rebrand. Now it is time to kick it up a notch. We’re finding a new gear and it looks like printing the second issue with it’s redone cover; go ahead and feel free to get hyperbolic about that, it looks amazing!
We’re getting over the fact that we live in a digital age and any promotional material is probably going to have me in it. Ah, to wait for the day when we can hire a professional actor to tell you how awesome DarkClaw is. Until then, Writer, Director, CEO, and Janitor, Stephen Anthony will have to do. The first draft of the next four books are written! How long before we can get DarkWake Issue #11 to Pyrink for him to cast his magick and make it a real thing? Hopefully not too long, I’m thinking a month or two, so not much longer than that when the digital download will be available on DarkClawStudios.com for all your oh-my-god-I’m-so-scared-but-just-can’t-stop-reading needs!
Personally, I’m taking steps to change the 9 to 5. Passion projects should be, well, passionate. This will never be work I don’t enjoy, but just to make sure we’re going to infuse some extra cash into getting rebrand printings to the horror cons, not to mention myself and the COO of DarkClaw to inject the warped nature of our imagination into yours!
Onward and upward. The way we see it: If we gotta wait till I’m dead to become rich and famous, then I’m going to make damn sure I’m going to know that is going to happen on my deathbed.
Great, now I’m going to have “Deathbed” calling me to be an issue title… Robert delves into a part of the prison that is still lavish from the days when it was a palace. The bed draped in curtains from four posts never allow him to actually see the bed. His vision blurring, a woman traces his shoulder in her finger.
Meh, we’ll see. For now, Issue #11 has the working title of “The Maze” and has the unlikely trio of Robert, Pedro and Ian working together to find the fourth runner in the prison.
